Career

Rai was elected to the 31st House of Representatives in May 2025 as a member of Liberty for Redmont, a centre-right party.[3]

A medical specialist and epidemiologist, Rai was awarded the Golden Stethoscope of Redmont in June 2025 on the behalf of Secretary of Health crytiee and the Iron Stethoscope of Redmont later in September 2025 by Secretary of Health Kay_Jee [4] In November, he acted as the secretary of health under President Pepecuu. A member of the New Dawn Party,[5] he was elected to the 34th House of Representatives in a special election.[6] He resigned after being temporarily deported in December 2025.[7]

Rai was recognised by President 1950Minecrafter in in June 2025, and President Pepecuu in December with an Order of Service (OR-51) for his work in the DOH.[8] In February 2026, he was awarded an Order of Redmont by President Multiman155 for his distinguished service in the Department of Health.[9]
