Signs and Symptoms
When first infected with chicken pox, a player will feel small itchy red spots appear on their body. All players infected with chicken pox experience stomach ache. Some players might also be fatigued and have a cough. Players will often notice the blindness effect which can be especially debilitating.
Causes
Chicken pox is caught by spending time around sick chickens. Once a player is infected with chicken pox, they can spread the disease to other players nearby.
Management
Aciclovir is the treatment for chciken pox, which can be crafted by a doctor with wheat seeds, a glass bottle, a spider eye, and an egg.
Epidemiology
Chicken pox is an extremely contagious condition that easily spreads between players in close proximity. Epidemiologists have determined a 10% risk of infection within a two-block radius of an infected player.
History
From the second wave of the May 2025 Moon Plague outbreak, a chicken pox infection was spreading alongside a common cold.
