The Carpenter is an ideal job for players who enjoy creating furniture and decorating homes, businesses, and other spaces. Like many creative professions, Carpenters have access to exclusive recipes that only they can craft.
From chairs and tables to decorative plants and other furniture pieces, Carpenters can create items that help bring spaces to life.
What Carpenters Do
Carpenters create and sell a variety of furniture items that make buildings throughout the city and towns more detailed, appealing, and realistic.
Carpenters may work alongside players with an interior-design focus to help design spaces, recommend furniture, and assist clients in choosing pieces that suit their needs. They can also provide their own advice on how to best decorate and improve a space.
To craft furniture recipes that require fabric, use /recipes and select the furniture icon to find the desired recipe. Furniture items can then be crafted using a crafting table.
To create fabric, combine 3 string and 1 item corresponding to your desired fabric in a crafting table.
The available fabric materials are:
- Dyes: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, and Black
- Fibers: Cherry, Mangrove, and Bamboo
- Other: Amethyst

Passed the Exam! What Now?
Congratulations on passing the Carpenter exam!
You can now craft furniture items for clients and begin building your business. To view all recipes available to Carpenters, including the Fabric Machine Plus, type /recipes in-game and select the furniture icon.
You can view the recipe for each item by selecting the furniture piece you wish to craft.
It is recommended that you establish a shop to sell your furniture. This may be a plot you purchase and build yourself, or a rented space where you can display and sell your creations.
Players advertising plots for sale or rent can be found in the Discord. You can also ask players in-game if they would like furniture to improve their homes, businesses, or other environments.
You may also start your own Company on the server (see the separate guide for more information). To do this, you will need to complete and pass the Entrepreneur Exam to obtain your license. Once licensed, you can use an /ad to promote your business.
To gather resources for crafting furniture, you can collect materials in the Wild or Everwild, or purchase resources from other players.
To access the Wild, use /warp airport. You can also use /find <item_name> in-game to view items being sold by players and compare prices.
