The Congress of Redmont is the federal legislature which makes up the legislative branch of the government of Redmont. It is divided into two chambers: the Senate, the upper chamber, and the House of Representatives, the lower chamber. Members of the House of Representatives propose and vote on bills and motions and make motions, while senators vote on bills, motions, and nominations, make motions, and interrogate subjects in hearings. Both chambers also have the power to express formal disapproval towards individuals or government departments through censure.

As of July 2026, there have been 39 sessions of Congress, each with a two-month term.

History

The first session of Congress took office on 10 May 2020, following an election that had been declared on 1 May. It was made up only of the House of Representatives, lacking an upper chamber.
