The 3rd Congress of Redmont was the group of legislators comprising the legislative branch of the country's government, serving from 5 September 2020 to 10 November 2020. Declarations were closed on 31 August 2020, and the results of the election were announced on 5 September 2020 by the then President xEndeavour. The 3rd Congress was the first bicameral legislature of Redmont, with the previous 2nd Congress having been dissolved in order to implement it.

Krix, former Deputy Speaker of the 2nd Congress, was voted in a 4-2-1 vote as the 4th Speaker of the House on 5 September, in a race against WilliamAddington. Information on the votes for President of the Senate (as most Senate information was at the time) is very scarce, but Hugebob23456 ended up being the winner of the race.

One of the defining features in the 3rd Congress was the amount of special elections during it. Two House special elections and one Senate special election were held, ranging from the start of the Congress to about the midpoint.

Like the 2nd Congress, most political disputes in the 3rd Congress revolved around the analysis and fixing of the Constitution. Acts, including the Congressional Repair Act II, the Redistribution of [Buffs] Act, and the Senatorial Bill Origin Act all sought to remedy these problems. The links to all of these are unfortunately lost media.

The lattermost of these bills, the Senatorial Bill Origin Act, was a particular point of controversy in the 3rd Congress. The bill sought to remedy a perceived fault in the Congressional balance of power by having the Senate be able to propose bills. According to reports from the Congressional Transparency Report 18/9, Senator Hugebob23456 pushed a general protest of voting in the Senate, urging all fellow Senators to nay, then sit on every House bill until the passage of the Senatorial Bill Origin Act. The ultimate fate of this bill can be presumed to be a failure, as the Senate cannot propose bills. However, the resolution of the matter is lost media.

The 3rd Congress also presided over the first Presidential election of Redmont, with 1st President xEndeavour opening up declarations for elections for his successor on 30 September 2020. Ultimately, the 2nd Presidency of Redmont ended up going to former Chief Justice Westray, who won in a 53-7 confirmation vote. Speaker of the House Krix had initially declared his candidacy, but it was ultimately rescinded. President Westray ultimately presided over the rest of the 3rd Congress.
