The June 2025 presidential election was the 15th presidential election in Redmont. It was held from 7 to 10 June, followed by the announcement of the results and then the inauguration of the president- and vice president-elect on 15 June.

The left-wing Workers' Party of Redmont announced their ticket, with Representative Kaiserin_ as its presidential candidate and juniperfig as her running mate, on 24 May.[1] Because major political parties typically announce their tickets in presidential elections in the preceding month, there was question as to whether or not there would be an opponent to Kaiserin_. On 1 June, Bezzergeezer and JediAJMan declared their candidacy as the Liberty for Redmont ticket;[2] the pair were previously elected as president and vice president in June 2024.[3]

Background

In the January congressional elections, the GER–WPR coalition achieved a majority in the House of Representatives,[4] and in the February 2025 presidential election, its joint ticket won, with the WPR's 1950minecrafter ascending to the presidency and the GER's Yeet_Boy to the vice presidency.

Following the commencement of the 30th Congress, the coalition collapsed, due to GER representatives voting for the centre-right Liberty for Redmont (LfR)'s nominee Bezzergeezer in the speakership election.[5] The left, however, has continued to win elections, including the February Aventura mayoral election (the WPR's RylandW),[6] the March Aventura mayoral election (the GER-endorsed AnimeInc),[7] the May congressional elections,[8][9] and the May Oakridge mayoral election (the WPR's Roryyy___).[10] During this time, the smaller centre-left the party (TP), debuted and secured its first congressional seat in the House in May.[8][11] The LfR has seen electoral success in general congressional elections but not in local or special elections.[12]

Candidates

On 24 May, Kaiserin_, a three-time incumbent representative and owner of Dragon Law Firm, announced her campaign with running mate juniperfig, the attorney general of Redmont.[1]

On 1 June, former president Bezzergeezer, whose vice president was his running mate, JediAJMan, declared his candidacy.[3] They served as president and vice president from June to October 2024, following the June 2024 presidential election in which they ran with the Patriotic Coalition of Redmont.[3]

Opinion polling and forecasts

On 25 May, MSMBS News published a pre-poll.[13] On 28 May, the results were published; due to a reported "skewed" audience, the network's owner called them "less than useless". Ten of sixteen respondents selected Kaiserin_ as their first preference.[14]

On 5 June, Pepe's Polling Co., ran by Pepecuu, published the results from its pre-poll which ran from 2[15] to 4 June. With 49 respondents and a stated 9.29% margin of error, Kaiserin_ received 79.59% of the first-preference votes, followed by Bezzergeezer with 10.20%.[16]

On 7 June, Pepe's Polling Co. and The Reveille Times each opened their exit polls.[17][18] On 9 June, Pepe's Polling Co. announced it was working with TPA News to display its polling results on its Election Center website.[19]

Events

On 5 June, a rally for Kaiserin_'s campaign was held at s027 in South Reveille.[20][21] The Reveille Times livestreamed the rally.[22][23]

The Reveille Times held a debate between the two candidates on 7 June in Reveille. The debate was livestreamed on YouTube.[24]

Results

Kaiserin_ was elected with 75 of 119 votes, versus Bezzergeezer's 44. Because only two candidates ran, only one round of vote counting took place.[2]
