History
Broadcasting Presidential Conferences
TPA News started broadcasting weekly press conferences held by then President, 1950minecrafter on April 8, 2025[2].
It then continued to broadcast press conferences held by the government including a Senate Press Conference held by Bezzergeezer and CaseyLeFaye[3].
Expansion into Written Journalism
On April 14, 2025. TPA News decided to expand beyond broadcasting and introduced the TPA News website on April 17, 2025. Allowing it's recently hired writers to produce articles, such as, but not limited to; political, business, cultural and editorial content.
Temporary Shutdown of TPA News, and data loss
On May 1, 2025. tortenwashere sent out a private memo to it's employees, informing them that TPA News’ back-end server—previously hosted under a free trial—had expired. As a result, the platform experienced a temporary shutdown and the unfortunate loss of two published articles.
TPA News then moved to a different back-end service, now hosted under torten's servers. The TPA News website is now back online as of May 17, 2025. With some pages, such as the home page currently under construction.
