Kaiserin_ (joined 1 January 2025; HOR-WPR), also known as Kaiserin Andrist, is a Redmontian politician, lawyer, and propagandist. She is the chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Redmont, the chairwoman of its Legal Committee, and the managing partner of Dragon Law Firm. Since January, she has served in the House of Representatives in the 29th, 30th, and 31st Congresses.

In May 2025, she announced her campaign in the June 2025 presidential election with juniperfig.

Political career

Early career and 29th Congress (January–March 2025)

Kaiserin_ joined the server on New Years' Day of 2025 and almost immediately became a lawyer. She joined the Workers' Party on 6 January and quickly became a prominent member, being elected to the party's Central Committee on 18 January.

Kaiserin_ was instrumental in the initial success of the Workers' Party, serving as its official Chief Propagandist beginning on 23 January, and leading multiple successful political campaigns (including those of Sen. Goldendude15 and Pres. 1950minecrafter), as well as assisting with administrative duties and policy-setting early on.

She ran for political office herself in one of the House of Representatives special elections of mid-February 2025, winning in a landslide with 30 votes to her main competitor's 12 votes. In a short term of roughly three weeks, she utilised the slim majority of the GER-WPR coalition in the House to pass the Workers' Rights Act (in an updated form from a previous incarnation of the bill with the same name) and the Legal Damages Balance Act, authored by herself in conjunction with AlexanderLove.

On 17 February 2025, Kaiserin_ was appointed the Chair of the Legal Committee of the Workers' Party, and stepped down as the Chief Propagandist, handing the role to AETHER1AN. The next day, Kaiserin was also elected as the Vice Chair of the Central Committee.

30th Congress (March–May 2025)

Kaiserin_ was re-elected to the House of Representatives in March of 2025, securing the second most votes out of all candidates.

On 23 March, Kaiserin_ was elected to succeed JunoAndrist as the Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party in a 4–1 vote, bringing her into the highest position within the party. She has continued to lead the party since, stating in a public address that she plans to "follow in the footsteps of [her] predecessor by leading with confidence, conviction, and wisdom".

Throughout her second term, Kaiserin_ wrote, proposed, and participated in the creation of a large number of bills aimed mostly at legal reform (Legal Code Act, No More Clarity Act, Judicial Jurisdiction Amendment Act, Legal Damages Rebalance Act) and executive functioning (Quick Education Act, Wild Regioning Exception Act). Her participation in the negotiations revolving around the Plot Regulations Act proposed by Bezzergeezer led to some of the stronger provisions of that law, including the choice of 30 as the new c-plot limit (down from 50), and the much higher and more exponential property tax rate. The representative also received backlash from the controversial Journalistic Transparency Act (of the same name as a previous Act by RylandW) that would have required nearly all published news to list an author, as well as potential conflicts of interest and biases. She subsequently requested the Senate to vote against the bill, saying she would "potentially revisit [the] idea next term".

Kaiserin was noted for her willingness to work across the aisle during this term, particularly with Liberty for Redmont, which held the same amount of seats in the House as the Workers' Party, and controlled the Senate. Her frequent bills co-authored or co-sponsored by Omegabiebel of the Liberty party came to be known as "OmegaKaiserin bangers". On April Fools of 2025, Omegabiebel and Kaiserin announced a joke presidential campaign through a press release, which was later deleted by Technofied, who erroneously believed it to be real.

On the third day of the 30th Congress's caretaker period, Kaiserin_ was elected Deputy Speaker of the House. This came after the resignation of former deputy speaker YeetGlazer (GER) eleven days earlier. Her term as Deputy Speaker was short-lived, lasting only 7 days.

Kaiserin became an auditor for the Department of State on 2 May 2025.

31st Congress (May 2025–present)

Kaiserin_ was again elected to the House of Representatives on 10 May 2025, again winning the second most votes out of all candidates in that election. The Workers' Party secured 4 out of the 11 seats in the House in this election, the most of any political party. Kaiserin was nominated for the position of Speaker of the House during this term, but lost to Omegabiebel by a single vote due to unexpectedly losing the vote of Rubilubi55, leader of The party.

On the 2nd day of the 31st Congress, the former Plot Regulations Act was struck down by the Federal Court in MrFluffy2U94 v. Commonwealth of Redmont [2025] FCR 41. The following day, on 12 May, Kaiserin proposed a new version of the Act with the same name, this time featuring a grandfather clause, a severability clause, and a provision that would make the law self-repeal in the event of a successful appeal of FCR 41. The new bill was signed into law by President 1950minecrafter on 30 May 2025.

Kaiserin was appointed to the Legal Code Committee on 18 May to participate in the formation of the Redmont Legal Code. She later stated on 20 May that she would not be able to be as active as she would like in the committee, due to time constraints from her other positions as party leader, solicitor general, and representative. This statement was criticised by xEndeavour, who accused her of "dipping out and blocking others from participating in the process" due to her vote of nay to the Senator's nomination to the Legal Code Committee, which failed.

Presidential campaign (June 2025)

On 23 May, Kaiserin announced her candidacy for the June 2025 Presidential election, with juniperfig as her running mate. Her intended cabinet was populated by WPR members and independents, initially including Vroomba as DCT secretary. She received the endorsement of xEndeavour of the RRP on 27 May, and later the same day announced that he would be her new choice for DCT secretary, privately citing both personal and policy disagreements with Vroomba as the reasons.

Legal career

Early legal career

Kaiserin_ became a lawyer almost immediately after joining DemocracyCraft, being hired as a paralegal at AlexanderLove's Dragon Law Firm the same day she joined the server. She would go on to skip most of her training, becoming a full associate on the 6 January, and take her first case with Alexander himself as her client in xEndeavour v. AlexanderLove [2025] DCR 1, which was later dismissed in the defence's favour and unsuccessfully appealed, creating Kaiserin's first legal victory. She became a partner at the law firm on the 17 January. She took on several more cases throughout the next several months, most prominently pertaining to defamation law, with clients including Vernicia and Plura72. She also gained experience in business administration and legal training, assisting in the training of many other employees.

Acquisition of Dragon Law Firm

On 26 February, AlexanderLove left the DemocracyCraft server and appointed Kaiserin_ as his successor for the position of Managing Partner at Dragon Law Firm. Shortly after assuming this position, Kaiserin undertook a series of internal changes to the firm, including giving other partners business equity, rather than the sole proprietorship model of the past. She has led the firm and continued her legal work since, though she has tended toward oversight more often than undertaking cases personally. Her initial partners were Angryhamdog and Smallfries4, but the former resigned from the firm on 29 April, and was not replaced.

On 10 May 2025, Kaiserin announced in a "Notice From the Partners" that Dragon Law Firm would no longer be taking case, contract, or retainer tickets of any kind, effectively shutting off business from the firm except for those cases which were already underway. Significant downsizing occurred soon after, with most of the firm being let go.

Department of Justice and solicitor general

Attorney General juniperfig hired Kaiserin as a prosecutor for the Department of Justice on the same day that Dragon Law Firm ceased taking new tickets. She was appointed as the second of two solicitors general on 16 May, and continues in the role to this day.

Her first successful prosecution was Commonwealth of Redmont v. Uffizi Holdings [2025] FCR 46, in which Uffizi pled guilty to one count of monopolisation for the purchase of Volt Bank. She also participated in the defence of Vanguard & Co. v. Commonwealth of Redmont [2025] FCR 49 following the seizure of Vanguard's financial institutions by the Department of Commerce.

Alexandria career

On 21 March 2025, it was announced that Kaiserin_ would serve as a chancellor on the High Court of Alexandria. She oversaw many of the nation's first court cases alongside fellow chancellor Smallfries4 and High Chancellor juniperfig.

Personal life

Kaiserin_ is a lesbian and uses she/they pronouns. She has been married to JunoAndrist since January 16, 2025, and they live together in Arsky Valley, Oakridge. She is the adoptive mother of norselyqueer, making her the mother-in-law of AETHER1AN.

Political positions

Kaiserin_ is a self-described communist and pragmatic socialist, and is a member of the Communist Caucus of the Workers' Party. To that end, she has campaigned on progressive and interventionist economic policies, as well as increased public transparency. She has also campaigned prominently on legal reform, with the desire for standardised legal codes highlighted as one of her key policies. Further, she has made an effort to convey her belief in pragmatic governance, calculated direct action, and cooperation with people from across the political spectrum. She has stated publicly that though she labels herself a communist, she does not believe that socialism is possible in DemocracyCraft, and therefore pursues something resembling social democracy.
