Pharmacists manafacture and sell medical treatments to DemocracyCraft players via private businesses. They follow policies set by the Department of Health to provide treatments outside of the hospital.

Abilities

Pharmacists produce pharmaceutical treatments that can be sold at DoH approved Pharmacies, including the lobby of Hospitals and player-owned pharmacies. Their main job is to supply Pharmacies with pharmaceutical cures.

In order to be in touch with policy changes it is recommended to Join the Dept. Health Discord Server! https://discord.gg/xjRHwJsxAV

Owning a Pharmacy

Once you become a Pharmacist you can rent one of the pre-built Pharmacies around /gps hospital.

If you would like to build your own Pharmacy it will need to be approved by the Department of Health. On your application, you must include:

  • The owner of the pharmacy
  • At least one operating location
  • The responsible pharmacist for each operating location

Once your pharmacy is approved, you will need to pay a one-time registration fee of $500. Additional locations can be added to the registration with a $100 fee for each newly approved location.

To sustain your Pharmacy, you will have to make a monthly payment of $100 for each location listed on your registration. The payment needs to be registered by the Health Secretary — you will have to join the DoH Discord for more information.

Rules and DoH Policies regarding Pharmacists

The DoH Pharmacist Guide and Pharmacy Policy should be used as the ultimate source of rules for a pharmacist. Below are key points to keep in mind:

  • A person may only own one Pharmacy.
  • A Pharmacy may operate from multiple locations.
  • Pharmacies can only sell Pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, supplies used to craft treatments, and custom food and drink excluding elixirs.
  • Pharmaceuticals cannot be sold outside of a licensed pharmacy.
  • Treatments cannot be administered directly by pharmacists.
  • All pharmaceutical items must be sold either by chest shops or by the reception, but must be sold individually.
  • Pharmaceutical items can be sold for no more than double the Medicare coverage for that treatment.
  • The Pharmacies can run their own insurance systems that give you coverage at a certain Pharmacy if someone is a regular customer. Such marketing deals are not the DoH's responsibility, but they are an option.
  • All Pharmacies must be ran in accordance with the DoH protocol.
  • The policies may change at the discretion of the Secretary of Health.
  • Pharmacies that break DoH protocol can be instantly removed by the DoH.
  • Pharmacists that break DoH protocol can be instantly terminated by the Secretary.

Recipes

To make treatments, you must craft them with a brewing stand and a crafting table.

Full list of recipes can be found using /recipes in-game.

Intermediate Items

In-game inventory menu showing all of the intermediate health recipes.

What to Do After Passing the Exam

Once you’ve passed the exam, you can either rent one of the pre-built Pharmacies near the Reveille Main Hospital, or you can seek DoH approval to open your own Pharmacy. You will have to open a DoH ticket on Discord and join the DoH Discord, so that the DoH can register your business and keep record of it.

To gather resources, you can either buy them from player shops with the /find command, or collect them in the wild. (Check /map if you’re looking for a specific biome).
