The vice president of Redmont is the second-highest ranking officer of the executive branch and acts as an adviser to the president.[1]

The vice president is elected with the president for a four month term. In the event that the vice president is removed or resigns from their position, the president may then nominate a replacement, with approval from two-thirds of the Senate.[1]

The vice president has no executive authority unless delegated by the president. In the event of a tie in the Senate, the vice president casts the tie-breaking vote.[1]

In order to be eligible to be vice president, a citizen must have at least twelve hours of active playtime in the last thirty days, joined at least four months prior to taking office, accrued at least 150 hours of active playtime, and cannot be the most recently elected president.[1]
