ItsKatto

Dr. ItsKatto CATastrophic (joined 8 January 2022; also known as Katto Strophe; commonly referred to as Katto; née Family), recently KattoTheGato, is a Redmontian artist, businessman and politician who is serving as the mayor of Aventura.

In 2022, Katto founded Katzen, which thrived until its permanent closure in 2024. In early 2024 he and kvogt2340 founded K&K, the largest private event-planning service provider in Redmont.

An artist, Katto has painted many popular artmaps, including Lusitania, Titanic and a series of portraits of cats. Katto has won two Rys in his artistic career, first at the Second Rylands Awards and later at the Fourth Rylands Awards. He was also nominated in the Artists category at the Third Rylands Awards and in the Fashion category at the Fifth Rylands Awards. He was declared the Most Creative Player at the 2023 Players' Choice Awards.

Katto is a socialist. He identifies as a member of both the Galactic Empire of Redmont (GER) and of the Socialist Workers Party (SWP). From 10 May to 10 July 2024 he served in the 25th House of Representatives as an independent, and authored the Illicit Renting Act with the help of Dragon Law Firm. In June 2024, during his congressional term, he successfully ran in the June 2024 Aventura mayoral election with AnimeInc as a member of the GER, becoming the town's first socialist mayor.

Career

CATastropic is a doctor and a miner, obtaining his mining degree at the University of Redmont. He is the founder and owner of Katzen, an umbrella corporation which owns KatzenArt, KatzenMall and Katzenfutter. He is a notable artist. He discovered his passion for painting on 28 July 2023, when artmaps were introduced. His art style is distinctly realistic, with often little meaning and more emphasis on looks. He was a sergeant for the Department of Justice from 23 July 2022 to 24 February 2023 and was a staff member from 23 September to 23 November 2023. Along with kvogt2340 he founded K&K.

CATastrophic's ranger application was accepted on 21 May 2023. On 3 June 2023, he applied to become a police officer and it was accepted the following day. On 11 October 2023, he declared his support for the registration of the Pizza Party. He declared his candidacy in the December 2023 Paradiso mayoral election on 10 December 2023. He was declared the winner on 13 December 2023 and became Paradiso's first—and only—mayor on 15 December 2023. On 6 January 2024, he put r032 up for auction and sold it for $28,000. He applied to become an event coordinator on 18 February 2024; however, the application was denied.

crytiee declared his candidacy in the February 2024 Willow mayoral election, with ItsKatto as his deputy mayor, on 22 February 2024. The campaign lost the election.

On 23 April 2024 he submitted a guide application to the Department of Education. It was accepted on 26 April. On 25 April he declared his candidacy for the 25th House of Representatives as an independent, although he is an outspoken member of the Galactic Empire of Redmont and the Socialist Workers Party. On 11 May 2024 he was hired at the Redmont Historical Institute. He contributed to the DemocracyCraft wiki, hosted by Fandom.

Satirical presidential campaign ad

On 21 May 2024, he satirically declared he would be running for president in the June 2024 Redmont presidential election, running ads for the supposed campaign.

On 4 June 2024, after being asked by RylandW to be his running mate, he declared his campaign in the June 2024 Aventura mayoral election. He received the endorsement of Yeet_Boy and, after RylandW was removed from the election, the support of RylandW.

Philanthropy and activism

Katto founded and operated the Redmont Housing Organization (RHO), which provided housing for those of low-income. He served as its chairman from 23 March to 23 November 2023.

He donated supplies to construct and furnish the Diamond Foundation's Diamond Center 1 in late 2023.

On 27 April 2024, KatzenArt at c120 opened a public bunker for the 2024 Redmont purge. Also that day, DiamondTV launched the #ProtectPets campaign to protect pets during the 2024 purge, which ItsKatto promoted.

Personal life

Katto resides in Bondi Beach, Reveille. BabySoga cited ItsKatto in his police officer application as someone he knew well. Katto was included in a portrait by CaptainKlodaCat titled me and my friends. He has identified as an "immigrant from Catopia," a city roleplay server that he used to own.

He was adopted by prominent businessman v__d on 6 September 2023. He is also a fourth-great-grandson of former president xEndeavour. Bardiya_King applied to adopt Katto on 4 October 2023; Katto never responded. Katto founded the CATastrophic family. On 11 February 2024, he adopted his brother Meowow55. He then adopted Mask3D_WOLF on 26 March; funyolk on 28 March; and Soundi83 on 30 March. In Meowow55 and Mask3D_WOLF's adoption registrations, Katto recorded their family names as The Family, his maiden name, but when he adopted funyolk and afterward he used the family name CATastrophe. He is the grandfather of former senator CivilizedMan.

His blue police car was found abandoned on a sidewalk in Reveille and was impounded by officer Mongooze101. A similar incident occurred on 22 October 2023, when his Yamaha bicycle was impounded by Meowow55.

ItsKatto received a Ry in the Artists category at the Second Rylands Awards. He was declared Player of the Year and Most Creative Player at the 2023 Players' Choice Awards. He was nominated in the Artists and Authors category at the Third Rylands Awards on 29 February 2024. He won in the Artists and Authors category at the Fourth Rylands Awards. He was nominated in the Fashion category at the Fifth Rylands Awards.
