The vice president of Redmont is the second-highest ranking officer of the executive branch and acts as an adviser to the president.[1]
The vice president is elected with the president for a four month term. In the event that the vice president is removed or resigns from their position, the president may then nominate a replacement, with approval from two-thirds of the Senate.[1]
The vice president has no executive authority unless delegated by the president. In the event of a tie in the Senate, the vice president casts the tie-breaking vote.[1]
In order to be eligible to be vice president, a citizen must have at least 12 hours of active playtime in the last 30 days, joined at least 4 months ago, accrued at least 150 hours of active playtime, and cannot be the most recently elected president.[1]
