It is divided into two chambers: the Senate, the upper chamber, and the House of Representatives, the lower chamber. Members of the House of Representatives propose and vote on bills and motions and make motions, while senators vote on bills, motions, and nominations, make motions, and interrogate subjects in hearings. As of 14 September 2025, there have been 33 sessions of Congress, each with a two-month term.
