In the election, three candidates — v__d, xEndeavour and xinexyax — forfeited their seats to serve in the Senate instead, as they had each ran in the elections for both chambers.

The 25th Senate was originally made up of crytiee, Dartanman (RIC), v__d (independent), Vernicia (VF), xinexyax (independent) and xEndeavour (RIC). However, Dartanman and xEndeavour both resigned in June, resulting in two special elections; in these special elections, Neemfy and SomeHumanOnEarth were elected.
