Rexit (a portmanteau of Redmont and exit) was the idea and occurrence of Redmont pulling out of the United Nations. The term Rexit became popular in 2024, during the 25th Congress, when Representative DocTheory proposed the Rexit Resolution, which was rejected 7:1:0.[1]
Rexit happened on 21 June 2024, when Bezzergeezer issued Executive Order 16/24, citing the "ineffectiveness and the lack of engagement within the organization."[2] Rexit "terminated" Redmont's recognition of the Treaty on Mutual Recognition, Cooperation, and Friendship.[3]
