Muggy21, also known as Mug, or Mug 21, is an Aventuran Supreme Court Justice, former Federal Court Judge and District Court Magistrate. He joined in July 2022, played for an hour, and promptly quit after finding the server too difficult to easily join. After rejoining in August 2025, he immersed himself in the legal profession, working across private law firms, founding the Redmont Civil Liberties Union (RCLU), and serving as both a state prosecutor[1] and public defender. Outside the courtroom, he has served as a professor[2] and compliance officer[3].
Career
Legal and Business Career
Following his return in August 2025, Muggy21 entered private practice with RedStar Law (RedLaw). Within his week of working at the firm, he represented his first client in the District Court in Anthony_org v. Elderdoor696528 [2025] DCR 54[4]. He then joined the Mezimori Law Department (MZLD), starting as a Junior Advokat before rising to Senior Advokat. During his tenure at MZLD, Muggy21 drafted pleadings, formulated litigation strategies, and provided advisory counsel to clients across civil and administrative matters[5].
Redmont Civil Liberties Union
In August 2025, Muggy21 established the Redmont Civil Liberties Union (RCLU), an advocacy organization dedicated to challenging institutional overreach, defending constitutional safeguards, and ensuring civil liberties were protected in fringe legal scenarios[6].
Legislative Drafting
In September 2025, Muggy21 authored the Notice of Claim Act (NCA)[7], sponsored by Representative Plura72 and co-sponsored by Representative girlfailcoded. The bill sought to require plaintiffs to issue a formal written notice of claim to the Attorney General 60 days prior to filing lawsuits against the Commonwealth, aiming to promote pre-trial settlement and curb frivolous litigation against government departments. According to Muggy21, the version of the bill posted in the forums is an older one that wasn't updated. The bill was rejected with a plan to propose the updated version, but the updated bill was never posted onto the forums.[8]
Judicial Career
District Court Magistrate (2025)
Muggy21 was appointed as a District Court Magistrate on 20 September 2025[9]. Over his term, he presided over more than twenty cases involving municipal code violations, contract claims, and constitutional torts.
Federal Court Judge (2025–2026)
On 17 November 2025, President Pepecuu nominated Muggy21 to the Federal Court of Redmont, a nomination confirmed unanimously by the Senate (4–0–0) on 18 November 2025[10]. He served on the federal bench for 227 days.
Supreme Court Justice (2026–present)
On 3 July 2026, Muggy21 was elevated to the Supreme Court as an Associate Justice[11], succeeding to the highest bench in the Commonwealth. He was confirmed unanimously by the Senate (4-0-0).
Awards
Muggy21 received the Order of Service award from President Pepecuu in November 2025, for his outstanding achievements in the Judiciary[12].
