The New Dawn Party (NDP) was a centrist political party in Redmont. Founded on 23 October 2025,[2] the last party leader was LesiiSpezi.
On 16 March 2026 the NDP announced that it will be merging with The Evergreens.[3]
History
The New Dawn Party was officially launched on 23 October 2025[2] by Juniperfig, Multiman155 and Scassany. The party was founded on the 5 principles of community, depth, precision, efficiency and fun.[4] Five days later, the party's registration was officially accepted by the Department of State.[5]
In November 2025, the NDP scouted candidates for their first election.[6] Three members were elected to serve in the 34th Congress, two in the House of Representatives and one in the Senate.
On 17 December 2025, Juniperfig was appointed to Vice President after Eenza became President following the resignation of President Pepecuu. Five days later, Juniper ascended to her second Presidency following resignation of President Eenza. Multiman155 was selected as Vice President. On 19 January 2026, Multiman155 began acting in the capacity of President following IRL health concerns from Juniperfig. Ten days later on 29 January 2026, President of the Senate Talion77 publicly announced Juniperfig's incapacitation following a Senate and Cabinet vote.[7] Multiman155 went on to serve out the rest of the term.
In January 2026, founder and then Secretary of Education, Scassany, left the party.
The NDP ran for its first Presidential campaign during the February 2026 Presidential Election. President Multiman155 ran alongside Secretary of the Interior Winterwolf under the party's name. The duo amassed 57 (33.9%) votes, coming in second to Technofied and Scassany.
On 16 March 2026, Multiman155, as council member, announced the "Sunset" of the NDP, and its merger into The Evergreens (TE) following a council vote. In his official announcement message, Multiman155 reflected on the party's achievements and visions, and recognised the positive alignment between the NDP and TE, before closing the message with a quote from King Solomon.[3][8] The NDP is yet to be officially deregistered.
