Scassany Contour (joined 24 August 2025; username Scassany) is a Redmontian politician and educator who has served as the secretary of education under President Eenza since 18 December 2025. A New Dawn Party member, Contour served as the deputy speaker of the 34th House of Representatives until her resignation on 15 December to be nominated to be the secretary of education.
Career
Early Political Career
Scassany joined the New Alliance on 30 August 2025.[1] During the September 2025 General elections, Scassany ran for a seat in the House of Representatives with the endorsement of the New Alliance. And on 10 September 2025, Scassany was successfully elected to the 33rd House of Representatives with ~15 votes in the 28th round.[2]
On 30 September 2025, Scassany was selected to be a Co-Administrator for the New Alliance, a position held by the founders of the party.[1] However, soon afterwards on 14 October 2025 Scassany would resign from this position and leave the New Alliance.[1]
New Dawn Party
On 23 October 2025, the creation of the New Dawn Party was announced, with Scassany, Multiman155, and juniperfig serving as its co-founders.[1] Scassany received the endorsement of the New Dawn Party during the November 2025 General Election, and was successfully reelected to the 34th House of Representatives on 10 November 2025, with 13 votes in the 12th round.[3]
Current Political Career
On 3 September 2025, she briefly became Deputy Speaker of the 33rd House of Representatives.[4] Following her reelection to the House of Representatives, Scassany served as the deputy speaker of the 34th House of Representatives from 15 November 2025, until her resignation on 15 December 2025 in order to become the secretary of education.[5]
Personal life
Contour resides at rh024, a property in Reveille Heights.[6] She is the daughter of Talion Contour, who adopted her on 15 November 2025.[7]
