The Department of Construction and Transport (DCT) is an executive department responsible for enforcing building regulations and developing Redmont's infrastructure. The department is currently headed by Acting Secretary winterwolf.
Duties and responsibilities
The Executive Standards Act defines the DCT's primary responsibilities to be:
- Creation of Government infrastructure
- Maintenance of building regulation compliance.
- Management of Public Transport networks.
In addition, the DCT is responsible for handling pastes, presidential libraries, enclaves and the hole.
Structure
The DCT is divided into two divisions: Inspection and Construction.
The Inspection side enforces building regulations by identifying violations in accordance with the Evictions Policy, filing reports, carrying out evictions if necessary and returning non-compliant plots to active use through auctions.
The Construction side is responsible for initiating public construction projects, modifying the transport network, and fulfilling pastes. Certain projects may result in the creation or removal of plots, thereby affecting the plot pool.
Each division has three roles with increasing responsibilities and permissions, as well as its own Deputy Secretary.
