Sleepii_Sloth (joined 19 January 2025), also known as Em, Em U. Sloth,[1] or simply Sleepii, is a Redmontian politician and business owner who served in the 30th House of Representatives as a member of the Workers' Party of Redmont from March to May 2025 and currently serves as a member of the 6th Central Committee.
Career
Business
Sleepii owns and operates TnT Elixirs n' Brews with Yeremyahu on the outskirts of Anville, a wild town in the Outer Redmont Communities network.[2]
In May 2025, they started Wethersbee Public Relations Strategies with RylandW.
Politics
Em joined the Workers' Party of Redmont a few days after they joined the server,[2] and quickly rose to prominence among the party, joining the Labor Committee, and submitting their name for Congress in the following election.
On 7 February 2025, Sleepii announced their candidacy for head of urban development of Aventura on the Aventura council, but later rescinded their candidacy[3] after being approached by RylandW to run on his ticket as the candidate for deputy mayor.[4]
On the 12 February, RylandW and Sleepii won the mayoral election against AnimeInc and running mate KattoC324, with both candidates leaving the first round with 21 votes each, and the Ryland/Sleepii ticket narrowly eking out a victory with 24 to 22 votes in the final round.
Four days after their victory, runners-up AnimeInc and KattoC324 filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court against the Commonwealth, alleging that the Department of State allowed Ryland and Sleepii to run in the election illegally.[5] Their claim was that Sleepii did not meet the requirements to run for deputy mayor of Aventura; therefore the mayorship should be granted in AnimeInc's favour.[5]
The Supreme Court decided to grant an emergency injunction preventing Ryland and Sleepii from taking their disputed positions, and placing the former officers in their place in an acting capacity.[6] A reelection took place in March in which AnimeInc was elected.[7]
On 1 March 2025, Sleepii announced their candidacy for the House of Representatives,[8] running with the WPR, stating that they were running for "the people, the workers, and the lesser heard".[9] Their policies aligned with those of the WPR, including the separation of big businesses from government, increasing union power, and ownership of land by its workers.[9]
They were dually elected to the House of Representatives on 11 March, receiving five first preference votes, and being elected in the 17th round with 11.36 votes.[10] They joined the House the same day with their two other WPR colleagues, MissAndrist and Kaiserin_.[10]
Outer Redmont
Sleepii is also an Outer Redmontian administrator, being a member of the Ministry of Trade. They are also running for membership of the Chamber of the People.[2]
Personal life
Sleepii_Sloth identifies politically as a social-communist. They are masc-non-binary, use they/them pronouns, and currently maintain residences in Aventura and Anville.[2] In January, they became engaged to Senator Goldendude15.[1] The two married in April in a ceremony officiated by Kaiserin_ in Anville's Omaha District.[11]
