AndreyMia (joined 28 December 2020[1][2]), also known as Andrey or Mia, was an influential attorney and politician who served as the speaker of the House from 14 June to 10 July 2021 and as vice president of the New Coalition Party (NCP).[2][3] A member of the Democratic Reformist Party (DRP), he also served as the deputy speaker of the 8th House of Representatives.
Career
Andrey became an event coordinator on 28 January 2021.[3] He held this position until 28 July that year (six months).[2] From April to November 2021, he was the chief operations officer at Spectre Industries.[2]
Political career
AndreyMia, a member of the New Coalition Party, was a candidate in the February 2021 House of Representatives special election. He lost with no votes.[4] He did so again in the March 2021 House of Representatives election, still as a member of the NCP. He again lost, but this time with three votes.[5] He then ran in the May 2021 House of Representatives election, for the first time as a member of the Democratic Reformist Party (DRP). He won with eight votes (3.9%).[6] He was reelected in July 2021 as a member of the DRP, now rebranded as the Redmont Freedom Party (RFP), receiving five valid votes.[7] During his tenure he authored the ChAk Fair Campaigning Amendment Act, which was signed into law on 20 August.[8]
During his term as representative, he introduced and passed the Trial by Combat Act,[9] the State of Redmont Act[10] the National Parks Act[11] and the International Treaties Act (ITA).[12] He successfully proposed an amendment to the Executive Standards Act, an amendment which was granted presidential assent by hugebob23456.[13] He also successfully proposed an amendment to the Corporate Crimes Act[14] and an amendment to the Legislative Standards Act-the pugbandit Transparency Act—which he co-wrote with then-Senator pugbandit.[15]
On 13 August 2021, he submitted the ChAk Fair Campaigning Amendment Act, an bill to amend the Fair Campaigning Act. The bill was granted presidential assent.[8] He co-authored The Eleven Act with Rurge, which passed.[16]
Legal career
He represented Th0re_ in the lawsuit Th0re_ v. overhour [2021] FCR 82, which was filed 25 July 2021. During his time in the 8th Congress, he also unsuccessfully introduced two bills: the Joe’s Legally Dead Act[17] and the Goodbye Act,[18] both of which were vetoed. He co-sponsored the Recognition of City-States Act August 2021, along with then-Representative ReinausPrinzzip, which was written by 1950minecrafter. The bill was rejected.[19] He also co-sponsored the RRS Resolution to recognize the Republic of Stratham, which passed.[20] In August 2021, the 8th Congress censured Mia, among others, due to inactivity.[21]
Figomessi77 nominated AndreyMia to deputy clerk under A__C, a motion which passed 100% in both congressional chambers during the 11th Congress.[22] On 2 January 2022, he applied to become an archivist. In his application, he included: " . . . one article which I will have the greatest pleasure composing is the incapacitation and subsequent removal of former President Krix, which I had the joy of watching being unfold in the Congress discord when I was Clerk. A great deal of popcorn was eaten that day.[23]
He represented the Commonwealth in the lawsuit Commonwealth of Redmont v. Chrisorg1 [2022] FCR 2 in January 2022[24] and Ansgard Ist in the lawsuit Ansgard_Ist v. MelisaMinecrft74 [2022] FCR 11 in January to March 2022.[25]
Personal life
Mia owned r-105 in Hamilton City.[26]
On 20 April 2021, he submitted names for the Department of Construction and Transport's ten districts of Hamilton City.[27] It is unknown if any of his submissions were accepted.
Mia was adopted by JoanM999 and ElainaThomas29 on 18 November 2021,[28] making him, much later, the brother of Cheeseeater77 and Ethan7S3_.[29][30] He was inactive from September to December 2021.[2] In an archivist application, Mia cited his close friends, including ElainaThomas29, LuckyPerms, JoeGamer, FracturedGhast7, GoldBlooded, Poemhunter and SumoMC.[23]
Although the situation is now very unclear, then-President LilDigiVert issued an executive order to postpone the execution of AndreyMia, among many others, until 10 October 2022 at 12:00 am EST.[31]
