Jorinton (joined 17 January 2025) is a Redmontian journalist and police officer who works as the press advisor to President Kaiserin_ and formerly for her predecessor, 1950minecrafter. He also writes political opinion pieces in The Reveille Times. He formerly worked as a Workers' Party of Redmont party official, serving as a member of the 2nd Central Committee.
Career
In March, Jorinton was hired as a police officer.[1]
Journalism
President 1950minecrafter appointed Jorinton press advisor in March 2025.[2] As press advisor, Jorinton hosted presidential press conferences and "meet-the-president" events. One of his actions as press advisor was condemning MoonKairiki and urging citizens to document evidence of his intentional spreading of the common cold and chicken pox in the May 2025 Moon Plague outbreak.[3]
Jorinton began working at The Reveille Times in January or February 2025.[4] He writes political opinion pieces and interviews government officials.
In May, an article by the saitirical news outlet NBS News titled "They Say Shooters Shoot, Jorinton What's Up With You?" calling Jorinton the "Presidential Dodgeball" and including a likely-false quote: "If we're going to be spending so much on press conferences, we could at least get something out of it and have the press secretary die". The article referred to the frequent mass shootings at presidential press conferences.[5]
Politics
Jorinton endorsed 1950minecrafter's campaign in the February 2025 presidential election.[6] In February 2025, Jorinton was elected to the 2nd Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Redmont.
Jorinton endorsed Kaiserin's campaign in the June 2025 presidential election.[7]
