The Department of the Interior (DOI) is the department of the executive branch tasked with preserving wildlife and urban areas through upkeep and overseeing and maintaining the aesthetic of the server. The department is currently headed by Secretary winterwolf.
The department was initially established as the Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPAW), tasked with overseeing the Wilderness. The name was subsequently changed following an Executive Order from then-President xEndeavour to the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR)[1]. It was then again renamed the Department of Environment and Recreation in June 2020[2], and finally the Department of the Interior (DOI) in July of 2022.[3]
