Technofied (joined 16 March 2020), also known as Tech, or occasionally Tuk, is a Redmontian politician senior administrator, and owner of DemocracyCraft, along with xEndeavour (End).
Early Life and Server Ownership
Tech joined the server just over a week after its foundation, while it was still in Beta. He was quickly made a member of staff, one of the server's first.
In September of 2020, after the retirement of founder and owner Jaynormous, Technofied took up co-ownership of the server along with End and has been an instrumental driver in optimisation and server progression ever since. Tech is often regarded as the server’s technical specialist while End primarily manages the player base and staff team.
Political Career
Unlike his fellow co-owner End, Tech has never sought the office of the Presidency,[1] however, he has served on a number of occasions in various positions in the Executive and further afield.
XEndeavour Administration
Vice President
On the 26th of August 2020, Technofied was appointed as the third Vice President of the Commonwealth of Redmont by then-president, xEndeavour. He served the rest of End's term, his tenure ending in October of the same year. As one of the first Vice Presidents of Redmont, he helped set precedents for how the position of VP should be run, as well as the executive branch as a whole.
Bezzergeezer Administration
Secretary of Homeland Security
Tech was appointed to the position of Secretary of Homeland Security in June of 2024 by President Bezzergeezer. During his term, he revitalised the Department of Homeland Security, offered strong leadership and provided guidance to not only the President, but others in the administration and wider community.
He was succeeded by HellsideBurnton.
Secretary of Construction & Transport
He was also appointed the Secretary of Construction & Transport, in which capacity he reformed the Department, restoring its efficiency and making it operate smoothly.
Presidential Commendation
In the President's words, "[his] unwavering commitment to improving Redmont’s government is clear in every action he takes ... His remarkable contributions deserve recognition and respect for his tireless efforts".
For his work in these positions, he was given a Presidential Commendation.

Lore
A God
Tech is often humorously referred to as a 'God', especially in Redmont's national motto "In End and Tech We Trust" as found on the Coat of Arms, a play on "In God We Trust", the official motto of the United States.
The reason for this is unclear, however, probably has to do with the fact that there is a Constitutional mandate for Staff and Government to "have completely different roles and functions". Despite the fact that there is no explicit hierarchy between Staff and Government, the fact that staff have the final decision on certain matters, such as which plugins can be added, or the size of the map,[2] may make them seem like a higher authority than the President. Despite this being untrue, this means that they (especially the owners, Tech and End) are often referred to as 'Gods'; i.e. the only authority higher than Government.
Tukmas
Main article: Tukmas
Tukmas is a humorous term for Christmas derived from Technofied's name. The Tuk- prefix, which is also used in the name of St. Tuk Cathedral, is widely used in the DemocracyCraft community, and is often applied more broadly to Christmas-related terms.
Personal Life
Technofied is Australian in real life, and resides in Willow in-game.
On the 13th of June 2020, Tech called fellow staff member Taelor evil. Dusty_3 agreed with Technofied and showed disapproval of Taelor.[3] As of mid-March 2025, this feud seems to have subsided.
