The September 2026 Oakridge mayoral election was the election held between 15 September and 21 September 2026 to elect the 18th mayor of the Town of Oakridge. KorroMF (IND) won this election, marking his first term as Mayor of Oakridge.
Background
This election marked KorroMF's second attempt at running for the mayor's office, having narrowly lost the July 2026 Oakridge mayoral election to Asdertplays. Johnes, another candidate, had previously served as Chief of Staff under Sofia2750, who won the May 2026 Oakridge mayoral election.[1] Notably all qualified candidates ran as independents, which followed the trend set by the last two Oakridge elections of mostly independent candidates.[2][3]
Candidates
KorroMF
KorroMF was Head of Urban Development in Oakridge, having been appointed by Asdertplays on 28 July 2026.[4] During the election KorroMF was also appointed as Secretary of Education,[5] and elected to the House of Representatives,[6] having to resign the latter position due to the conflict caused by his secretary position. He previously ran for mayor of Oakridge under the People's Reform Party in the July 2026 mayoral election, coming second.
