The May 2026 Oakridge mayoral election was the election held between 15 May and 21 May 2026 to elect the 16th mayor of the Town of Oakridge. Sofia2750 (IND) won this election, marking her second term as the mayor of Oakridge. The election was the first Oakridge mayoral election to not feature a deputy mayor on the ballot.

Background

In January 2026, Yeet Boy narrowly won his fourth non-consecutive term as the mayor over the WPR-backedticket of Dogeington Anthropy/FloorisTired, having also won in the previous mayoral term in September 2025 before being removed by the Oakridge town council December 2025 for inactivity. The joint ticket of Sofia2750/Ameslap won together in the December election, and both were candidates for mayor in this election.

The political scene in the town leading up to the election was turbulent. Sofia2750, serving as the Head of Residence at that time, made a public announcement of a vote of no confidence against Yeet_Boy, citing inactivity and poor handling of a recent staff veto on the size of the town's council.

Candidates

There were 2 candidates who were disqualified from running in the election, Tortenwashere, due to lack of playtime as well as Yeet_boy, who was disqualified due to having served during parts of both previous mayoral terms, which is illegal according to the Oakridge Constitution. Yeet_boy would sue the Town of Oakridge and the Department of State due to this disqualification, and the supreme court would uphold the disqualification.

Sofia2750

Sofia2750 was an incumbent Oakridge town councillor at the time of the election, and was also a former mayor of the town. She ran as an independent, but had led the Oakridge List coalition, a coalition of Oakridge politicians across various parties, in the previous town council elections.

Ameslap

Ameslap was the former deputy mayor of Oakridge, having served with Sofia2750. He previously ran under The Freedom Coalition, but ran this election as an independent.

Morsaki

Morsaki was the Head of Urban Development for Oakridge, having been appointed to the position by Yeet_boy. This was the first elected position they were running for.

Bennyboi2187

Bennyboi2187 was an independent who had not served in any Oakridge government positions prior to the election.

Results

There were 39 valid votes cast in the election. Sofia2750 won the election with 25 votes, or 64.1% of the vote. Ameslap received 7 votes, Morsaki received 5, and Bennyboi2187 received 2.
