The House of Representatives of Redmont (HOR), often referred to simply as the House, is the lower chamber of Congress, which proposes and votes on bills before they move to the upper chamber, the Senate. It comprises 11 elected members, whose terms last two months, elected every odd month. At present, there have been 34 sessions of the House of Representatives.
History
The first session of the House began on 10 May 2020.[1] Because the Senate was not yet founded,[2] the House was the sole chamber of Congress; this ran true for the 2nd Congress as well.[3]
Leadership
Each session, representatives elect one representative to serve as the speaker of the House, who leads the chamber, and then a deputy speaker of the House, who acts on behalf of the speaker when they are unavailable.
