ItsKatto's mayorship of Aventura began on 8 June 2024 when he was elected into office as a result of the June 2024 mayoral election,[1] in which he ran as an independent,[2] and ended in October 2024 when CopTop_YT was elected and began his term. This mayoral election was a result of the removal of Dragons1ayer343 as mayor due to a petition demanding his removal because of his inactivity.[3] Although he ran as an independent, he is a member, and received the endorsement, of the Galactic Empire of Redmont.
In the election, Katto promised development in Aventura, including building a new town hall, adding new islands and yachts and establishing Aventura as the "food town" by supporting "the art of cooking and brewing."[4] He also advocated for a "crackdown on inactivity" and claimed he wanted to build a black market network in the town.[4]
