As MSMBS is an independent organisation operated by one individual, Sofia's personal opinions have been included in some reporting, including support for the Workers' Party of Redmont (WPR). In a prediction of the May 2025 Oakridge mayoral election, Sofia opined, "Looking at the recent house and local elections, it has become clear that Oakridge is now WPR controlled."[2] She has also doubted the survival of the Galactic Empire of Redmont "through the end of the year".[3]

Election pre-polling and forecasts

In May it predicted that the WPR's Roryyy___ would win that month's mayoral election in Oakridge in a landslide. Although Roryyy___ won the election, the results were closer than MSMBS News predicted.[2]

Later in the month, it began pre-polling for the June 2025 presidential election.[4]
