The Chief Justice is most senior officer of the Supreme Court and the Judiciary. A player must have at least 150 hours of total active playtime to be nominated for Chief Justice by the President. In order to assume their position after being nominated, they must be approved by a majority of the Senate.
Section 19(2) of the Constitution grants the Chief Justice the power to deliver a verdict in the case of a disagreement among the Justices.

Note: Although Chief Justice Krix resigned, it was after the House of Representatives had impeached him. On 23 January 2023, the Senate unanimously found him guilty on all charges.
