Wrote an entirely new article. The only content salvaged was the infobox, table of results and some of the background section. Added more in-depth information and lots of references. |

The October 2025 presidential election was the 16th presidential election in Redmont. From 7 to 10 October, voters elected Workers' Party of Redmont (WPR) candidate Pepecuu and their running mate Eenza.[1]
On 26 September, the WPR announced its ticket, Pepecuu and Eenza, after the campaign won the primary.[2] The newly established minor Labor Party of Redmont (LPR) ran PluraGlasshouse and pricelessAgrari, the only other campaign affiliated with a political party.[3]
Background
In the June 2025 presidential election, Kaiserin_, a leading figure in the WPR, was elected to succeed 1950minecrafter, who headed the GER–WPR ticket in the February election. In August, Kaiserin_ resigned,[4] and the presidency was assumed by Vice President juniperfig.
Also in August, two splinter parties formed from the Workers' Party Redmont (WPR): the Left Opposition[5] and the New Alliance.[6] In September, the former was deregistered.[5]
As a result of internal party tensions, the Redmont Beach Party (RBP) experienced major losses after the congressional elections in September. Senator DocTheory left because of the president of the Senate election, Representative Plura72 leaving mere minutes later to create the Labor Party Redmont and Representative RealImza left to join the New Alliance. This left both major parties in a weakened position ahead of the presidential election in October.
Candidates
In the first hours of 2 October LPR candidate PluraGlasshouse and TP candidate tortenwashere declared. Soon after, WPR candidate Pepecuu declared, followed by seven independent candidates: AsexualDinosaur, 12700k, MrFluffy2U94, Bezzergeezer, PurpleBG, YourLocalDiabeto and EATB. Before polls opened, the Department of State announced that four of the nine tickets had been disqualified: tortenwashere/Rubilubi55, 12700k/razorsharpbread, PurpleBG/Talion77 and YourLocalDiabeto/Destiny2Guru.[1]
WPR primary
Two campaigns declared in the WPR primary, held in September: Pepecuu and Eenza[7] and PurpleBG and Talion77.[8] The former won the primary, becoming the party's official nominees.[2]
Controversies
In late September, an anonymous tip to The Reveille Times produced screenshots alleging that New Alliance members conspired to have Bezzergeezer removed from RBP leadership if he were to lose the election. In a statement, Sofia2750 claimed The Reveille Times "seems to prioritise painting NA in a bad light," and called the conversation shown in the screenshots "an internal miscommunication between members."[9]
On 8 October, as the polls were open for voting, the Eagle Foundation reported that the Pepecuu campaign's pick for secretary of commerce, Bardiya_King, was "set to be fired from [the] department for alleged incompetence and creating a toxic work environment". Attached was a 17-page document originally sent to Secretary of Commerce Avaneesh2008.[10] The report accused Bardiya_King of dishonouring commitments, hostility and "poor accounting skills", as phrased by The Compass.[11] After receiving rebuttal statements from Bardiya_King, The Compass opined that, "under scrutiny from the perspective of Bardiya, it [the report] struggles to hold up."[12]
Opinion polling and forecasts
The TPA News pre-poll found Pepecuu in the lead, followed by tortenwashere and Bezzergeezer.[13] A later poll, conducted during the voting period, found Pepecuu winning an outright majority.[14]
Events
On 6 October, TPA News hosted a debate between four of the candidates — AsexualDinosaur, Bezzergeezer, Pepecuu and PluraGlasshouse[15]— at s027.[16] It was broadcast live on YouTube.[17]
Results
In what The Residential Post called "an expected sweep,"[18] Pepecuu's campaign won the election, with 61.59% of the votes to the runner-up's 38.41% after the final round.[1] In third place came PluraGlasshouse; an analysis published shortly after the release of the results found that EATB's campaign, which came in last place, had more support than Plura's when weighing the order of preference.[19]
