ItsKatto's term as mayor of Aventura began on 8 June 2024 when he was elected to office in the June 2024 mayoral election,[1] in which he ran as an independent,[2] and ended in October 2024 when CopTop_YT was elected and began his term.[3] This mayoral election was a result of the removal of Dragons1ayer343 as mayor due to a petition demanding his removal because of his inactivity.[4] Although he ran as an independent,[2] he is a member, and received the endorsement, of the Galactic Empire of Redmont.[5]
In the election, Katto promised development in Aventura, including building a new town hall, adding new islands and yachts and establishing Aventura as the "food town" by supporting "the art of cooking and brewing."[6] He also advocated for a "crackdown on inactivity" and claimed he wanted to build a black market network in the town.[6]

Accomplishments
On 10 August, Katto announced that development of a black market system was ongoing in the town.[7]
