TabbQ (joined 25 May 2022[1]), also known by the nickname Tabb, was the second mayor of Aventura who served as a member of the Galactic Empire of Redmont (GER).[2][3] A controversy arose against him as mayor of Aventura due to his inactivity.

TabbQ did not have much of a background in politics other than supporting the original registration of the GER.[4] In October 2023 the Monster Raving Loony Party listed TabbQ as one of its members.[5] TabbQ has been a controversial subject. In February 2024, former president Krix said, "I think anyone who tried to defend TabbQ would be no better than an accessory to terrorism."[6] However, Oakridge deputy mayor zLost has called TabbQ "the best mayor in Aventura."[7]

Mayorship of Aventura

Main article: Aventura mayorship of TabbQ

Following LilDigiVert's quit, a mayoral election in Aventura was declared by the Department of State in November 2023.[2] On 3 November 2023, TabbQ declared his campaign in the election.[3] Other candidates included v__d (independent), DubiousBird (independent) and Louder_Leo (independent); TabbQ was the only candidate to run in the election with a political party.[3]

The GER organized rallies for him, at which alcoholic beverages were distributed. TabbQ, receiving 45 valid votes, won the election, becoming Aventura's first elected mayor.[8] However, little was done in his term. In his first month of being in office, 58.8% of citizens reported not approving of him as mayor of Aventura;[9] by the next month this number jumped to 66.1%.[10] He was removed the next February.
