Pepecuu launched their campaign in the October 2025 presidential election on 19 September 2025.[1] Receiving 77 votes (61.95%) in the final round of the election, Pepecuu was elected the 23rd President of Redmont, the fourth Workers' Party of Redmont president in a row.[2] The vice presidential candidate was Eenza. After winning the WPR primary in September, the ticket was endorsed by the party[3] and declared for the general election on 2 October.[4]

Background

Pepecuu

When their campaign was launched, Pepecuu was the president of the Senate, serving her fourth term in Congress. Formerly a member of the Redmont Reform Party, Pepecuu was an independent politician.[5] They have dabbled in journalism with Pepe's Polling Co., which collects election data through pre-polls.[6]

Eenza

Eenza, on the other hand, has been a WPR politician. Before becoming the deputy secretary of education, she served in the 31st House of Representatives and on the party's Central Committee. In her private career, Eenza is a businesswoman and detective, electoral officer, pharmacist and ranger.[7]

Policies

A 14-page document published by the campaign outlined the Pepecuu administration's policy promises.[8][9] These included a refurbished tutorial for new players, changing election times to be "more inclusive", training auditors through new programs, completing federal construction projects, reforming the Redmont Bureau of Investigation, recognising private universities, and updating the National Art Museum, reforming the Department of Homeland Security's leadership structure, among other policies.[9]
