He is a prominent member of the Workers' Party of Redmont, and has held several government and political offices.
Education and early career
Styx received an education in several trades and professions from Redmont University, working as a fisherman, miner, and jeweller before training to become a doctor at Reveille Hospital.

Department of Health
Styx became a trainee doctor on 19 May 2025. On 23 May 2025, four days later, he completed his doctor evaluation. He played an important front-line role in the management of the May 2025 Moon Plague outbreak.
