The January 2026 Oakridge mayoral election is the ongoing election to seat the next mayor and deputy mayor of Oakridge. The two candidates are Dogeington Anthropy (WPR), the Attorney General of Redmont, and Yeet_Boy (GER), the three-time former mayor. Oakridge, a former Galactic Empire of Redmont stronghold, flipped to the Workers' Party of Redmont in mid-2025 but flipped back later in the year.
Background
In September 2025, Yeet_Boy and modzy_ were elected mayor and deputy mayor of Oakridge in a close election that flipped the town back from WPR control,[1] having been a GER stronghold prior to Roryyy___'s election in May 2025, defeating the GER ticket 29–25.[2]
Yeet_Boy was removed from the mayor's post on 23 December 2025, during his fifth term, due to inactivity. Days later, Sofia Arf Arfwwwwww and Ameslap James was elected in a special to succeed him and modzy_ as mayor and deputy mayor, closely defeating Multiman 155 (NDP) and his running mate, Dogeington Anthropy.[3]
Candidates
Dogeington Anthropy (WPR)
Dogeington Anthropy's campaign was launched on the 15th.[4] Anthropy is the incumbent attorney general of Redmont and head of residence of Oakridge, and a member of the WPR's Central Committee. His running mate, Floor IsTired, founded and runs the DC Independent Publishers NPO. The campaign's manager is Senator Ryland Wethersbee.
ragemen2 (IND)
The newly established political group known as the Oakridge National Party, though not a registered political party, assembled its ticket of ragemen2 and Gizmo_The_Grand. An officially independent ticket, the pair were disqualified because ragemen2 did not meet the playtime requirement.[5]
Yeet_Boy (GER)
On 15 January, Yeet_Boy declared as the Galactic Empire of Redmont (GER) ticket, with his running mate as JustaDumpling. A former Oakridge mayor, Yeet_Boy was first elected to the office in November 2023 and reelected in May 2024. He was later served a third, non-consecutive term after ascending to the office as deputy mayor, replacing Mayor JustaDumpling, under whom he served. He was again reelected in February 2025 and elected to a fifth, non-consecutive term in September 2025, but was removed from office on 23 December due to inactivity and succeeded by Sofia Arf Arfwwwwww, elected in a special.[6][3]
Events
On 19 January, RazNews hosted a debate between the two candidates at the Oakridge Theatre.[7] The event was supported by the Department of Public Affairs, boosted with an announcement in #server-announcements and a /event warp.[8] The debate was sponsored by Alta Group and concluded around 12:40 am UTC, lasting approximately 40 minutes.[9]
