TrueDarklander (joined 24 January 2025), also known as TheRealDarklander, is a Redmontian politician who is currently serving as a representative and formerly as the speaker of the 36th House of Representatives. He also works as an auditor and compliance manager, and is the chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Redmont.
TrueDarklander is a former member of the Federal Reserve Board.[1] He formerly served as the deputy secretary of commerce[citation needed] and later as acting secretary of commerce during the Juniperfig 22nd administration.[2]
He also operates a small armory in Oakridge.[citation needed]
Political career
TrueDarklander served on the 34th, 35th and 36th sessions of the House of Representatives, from 11 November 2025 to 11 May 2026.[3][4][5] He served as Deputy Speaker of the House in the 34th Congress after being elected to the position on 18 December 2025.[6] He also served as Speaker of the House in the 36th Congress, elected to the position on 12 March 2026.[7]
He was elected to a class A Senate seat in the 37th Congress on 11 May 2026[8] and was elected to serve as Deputy President of the Senate on 14 May.[9]
After the 38th Senate was dissolved in July 2026,[10] TrueDarklander was elected to the 39th House of Representatives in the special election that followed.[11] He was elected to serve as Speaker of the House on 27 July.[12] A motion of no confidence against TrueDarklander's position as Speaker was submitted by _GreyMC on 21 August, citing a lack of activity,[13] and was made redundant by his resignation from that position the same day.[14]
Workers' Party of Redmont
TrueDarklander joined the Workers' Party of Redmont (WPR) on 25 January 2025.[citation needed]
He served on the 3rd Central Committee in March 2025,[15] as well as the 11th,[16] 12th,[17] 13th,[18] 14th,[19] 15th,[20] 16th,[21] 17th,[22] 18th[23] and 19th[24] Central Committees, being a Committee member since January 2026. He served as Chair of the 11th, 15th, 16th, 17th Committees.[16][20][21][22]
