Westray's October 2020 presidential campaign was an uncontested, independent campaign in the October 2020 presidential election. Westray, a journalist from Hamilton, ran with Doxxx_, a police officer and Westray's mother. The campaign was successful, with Westray being elected the second president of Redmont — the first to be elected — creating the first Westray administration.
The campaign's slogan was "promises made, promises kept". This slogan was also later used by Icypenguin79 for his campaign in the March 2021 congressional elections and xEndeavour's campaign for the May 2021 House of Representatives election; though these may be unrelated.
Election results
The campaign proved successful, securing 53 confirmation votes versus just seven votes in opposition to Westray.

Thank you for the tremendous support everyone. This campaign has been about listening to the concerns of voters, and coming up with effective policies that work for the people. We would like to especially thank those who have publicly supported us along the way, we could not have done this without you folks.
As we head into this unprecedented era of an elected President, there will be some challenges. We are ready to take on these challenges and commit to our role of serving the people. We also have faith that our Cabinet nominees will also be effective at taking on these newfound challenges.
President Endeavour has done a tremendous job laying the foundations of our great democracy, and we hope to continue this precedent in the first elected Presidency. Thank you everyone.
