The Public Defender Program was created on 20 December 2021 following President 218218Consumer's assent to the Modern Legal Board Act. The Program as seen today is Constitutionally-established and is run by the Supreme Court of Redmont, which appoints a Public Defender Director (PDD) to manage the program.
Leadership
The position of Public Defender Director was established on 16 March 2023.[1] The first Director was Dartanboy, who was appointed on 20 March 2023.[2] He ceased being Director after being confirmed to the position of Attorney General in May 2023.
ColonelKai was appointed as Director on 28 April 2024.[3]
Anaphase_Andy was appointed as Director on 22 November 2024.[4]
Superwoops has also served as Public Defender Director.[5]
