Food Poisoning is a common health condition in Redmont. It is non-contagious.
Signs and Symptoms
Patients who have Food Poisoning will always have Nausea and a Stomach Ache. There is also a 50% chance the patient will be Vomiting or have Diarrhea.[1]
Causes
A player gets Food Poisoning when they eat unprepared and raw foods. These foods include: Raw Mutton, Raw Porkchop, Raw Salmon, Raw Cod, Raw Beef, Raw Chicken and Raw Rabbit. To avoid this, players should make sure their food is cooked.
Management
The main cure for Food Poisoning is Azithromycin, which Doctors can make by brewing Podzol and 3 Simple Cultures into 3 Saccharopolyspora Culture, then turning the Saccharopolyspora Culture into Azithromycin. A patient can go to any hospital or clinic to be treated with Azithromycin, which has a $55 cost fully paid by Medicare.[2]
Another cure for Food Poisoning is Antibiotics, which Doctors and Pharmacists can make by turning 3 Simple Cultures into Antibiotics. This is not covered by Medicare and is usually not given out at the hospital, so patients must purchase it at a pharmacy.
