Bug Bite Fever is a rare health condition in Redmont. It is non-contagious.
Signs and Symptoms
Patients who have Bug Bite Fever will always have a Fever and Jaundice, which is shown through an orange glow. There is also a 50% chance the patient will have a Headache, and a 30% chance they will Sweat. [1]
Causes
A player gets the Bug Bite Fever when they get a bite from a bug in a tropical biome. Technically, there is a 1% chance a player will get Bug Bite Fever when in a jungle, mangrove, or swamp biome.[2]
Management
The main and only cure for Flux is Chloroquine, which Doctors and Pharmacists can make by brewing Magma Cream and 3 Jungle Bark Extract into 3 Quinine Tinctures, then turning the Quinine Tinctures into Chloroquine. A patient can go to any hospital or clinic to be treated with Chloroquine, which has a $65 cost fully paid by Medicare.[3]
