The Socialist People's Alliance is a left-wing political party in Redmont, founded by antonfr_ and nechtoho on November 22nd 2025 and officially registered on December 8th the same year.
History
Socialist People's Alliance was formed on the 22nd of November 2025, by nechtoho and antonfr_.
The party came about as an alternative to other left-wing parties with policies such as accessiblity for new citizens, better rights and conditions for workers, affordable housing and increased UBI.
The SPA gained 4 further members throughout the rest of the month, with members like Plura joining, and applied for official registration on December 4th the following month. The party was officially registered by the Department of State 4 days later, gaining support from eight non-members including President Pepecuu.
Structure
The Socialist People's Alliance is governed by the Board, 2 committees, and local branches in Aventura and Oakridge. Monthly elections decide the members of the board, the committees and the leadership of their local branches.
The Board is the main governing body of the party with 5 members being elected for a 1 month term. Once the board is elected, a majority will choose a chairperson and two deputy chairs. The SPA has a secretary to manage internal communications and record-keeping, a spokesperson to manage external communications, a treasurer to ensure transparency when it comes to finances, fundraising and budgeting.
The party's 2 committees are the Campaign Committee and the Policy Committee. The Campaign committee will handle the campaign for national elections and can help e.g. the local branches with campaigning in their areas. The Policy Committee is to develop policies through a democratic process.
