ElainaThomas29 (joined 22 November 2020), commonly referred to as Elaina or ElainaThomas, was a politician who served as the Deputy Secretary of Justice during the Krix and hugebob23456 administrations. She ran for President of Redmont in the February 2023 presidential election.

Career

Hamilton registered ENB Industries—a company in three primary industries: agriculture, logging and mining—on 6 December 2020, and it was accepted the following day. It was later rebranded to Eden Industries. She was accepted as a police officer on 31 December 2020, having applied three days prior.

Politics

She declared her candidacy in the December 2020 House of Representatives election as a member of the Democratic Reformist Party on 1 March 2021. She won a seat. The first bill she introduced, the New Player Demilitarization Act on 12 March 2021, was granted presidential assent by Krix and signed into law eight days later. She proposed the Designate Individuals General Income Act (DIGI Act), which had been authored by Senator LilDigiVert, on 16 March 2021. The bill would introduce universal basic income. It was rejected by xEndeavour as the "[government could not] afford it." The bill included three stanzas of song lyrics. She then successfully proposed an amendment to the LDV Pet Murder Act.

On 21 March 2021, Hamilton declared her support for the registration of the Bullmoose Party (BMP), following LilDigiVert's declaration of the same. Four days later, Hamilton became an instrumental figure in implementing universal basic income, proposing a bill—the Universal Basic Income Trial Period Act—which had been written by then-President hugebob23456 and LilDigiVert, and cosponsored by herself. This legislation was passed 2 April 2021. Additionally, she introduced the Setting and Keeping Reasonable Transportation Costs Resolution—which she and LilDigiVert had collaborated to write—which passed; and the Gulag Reform Act, also a collaboration with LilDigiVert (with credited inspiration from Bezzergeezer, Technofied and Hanhatfre, among others), which was rejected.

In the Chicken Syndicate Party registration, Chrisorg1 shared his opinion that handcuffs are too overpowered. This garnered a response from Hamilton, asking, "Are you saying you support criminals?"

Personal life

Hamilton supported Westray's police officer application, as did Ansgardd.

ElainaThomas29 married JoanM999, another influential politician, on 31 March 2021. Their marriage was registered by the Department of Public Affairs the following day, 1 April. Together, they adopted AndreyMia on 18 November 2021 and Cheeseeater77 & Ethan7S3_ on 11 January 2023. She also married Bubba_Tea_ on 18 December 2021.
