Art plays an important role in the culture of Redmont. Using the mapart plugin, Redmontians have been painting scenes for years. Additionally, creatives have been making architecture, literature, music and statues since the beginning of time.
Government
In January 2025, AETHER1AN criticised "the government’s role (or lack thereof) in the development of the arts sector" in a Spectator interview with AnimeInc.[1]
Various governments and agencies, especially those of towns, hold art competitions. The Department of Public Affairs especially has used this method to celebrate Pride Month.[2]
In May 2026, Mayor Budgiebud announced the development of the Aventura Art Gallery.[3]
Collection
The collection of art, especially that which is considered valuable, has long been a venture of many persons.[4] In at least one instance — the March 2026 auction of R082 — including art collections in properties has been done to increase the sale price for a property.[5]
Museums
Many museums have and do collect and display art to the public. The largest one of these is the Redmont Art Archives, founded in 2023; others include the Redmont Historical Institute's STAMBA Gallery of Fine Arts and the public Museum of Redmont[6] and National Art Gallery.[7]
In January 2025, the staff team discovered that over 20,000 entities were present in the server; administrator Technofied approached the Redmont Art Archives and requested they reduce the number of item frames in use. Later that month, the gallery announced that they had reduced their display collection by 95%.[8]
