The District Court (or "DCR") is the lowest court in the Redmont judiciary, underneath the Federal Court and Supreme Court. Cases before the District Court are presided over by a single Magistrate, who are appointed by the Chief Justice. The Constitution only allows for there to be 3 appointed Magistrates at any given time.
