The February 2026 presidential election is the upcoming presidential election in Redmont. It will be held from 7 to 10 February, followed by the announcement of the results and then the inauguration of the president-elect and vice president-elect on 15 February.
Background
In December 2025, President Eenza resigned from the Office of the President. She was succeeded by her vice president juniperfig, who chose the incumbent President of the Senate, Multiman155, to be her vice president. However, in mid-January, juniperfig became ill IRL and on the 19th Multiman155 began acting in her capacity. On 29 January, President juniperfig was incapacitated and Multiman155 became the 26th president of Redmont.[1]
Candidates
On 24 January, campaigning in #campaign began in support of Multiman155's campaign.[2] Five days later, on 29 January, he became the 26th president of Redmont, succeeded President Juniper Fig following her incapacitation.[3] His running mate is winter wolf, the Secretary of the Interior.[2]
On 31 January, 12700k announced his candidacy with running mate AsexualDinosaur.[4] The following day, Technofied and Scassany launched their campaign.[5] PluraGlasshouse declared as the Socialist Union candidate.[6]
