Emilypancakes22 (joined 3 April 2025) is a Redmontian politician, journalist and property inspector who has served as a member of the 35th House of Representatives since January 2026.[1] She is a board member of the Socialist People's Alliance[2], the founder and owner of Turtle Hat Media, and a former editor-in-chief of TPA News.
She is notable for securing the Socialist People's Alliance its first-ever seat in Congress in the January 2026 House of Representatives election.
Early career
Emilypancakes22 has been a property inspector with the Department of Construction and Transport since 15 November 2025.
Political career
Emilypancakes22 became involved in politics after joining the Socialist People's Alliance in late November 2025. In the party's internal elections held in December 2025, she was elected to the party's board, a position she has held since.[3]
She ran for office in the January 2026 House of Representatives election, where she won a seat in congress. Her victory marked the first time the Socialist People's Alliance gained representation in congress, serving as member of the 35th Congress since 10 January 2026.
Journalism and media career
In October 2025, emilypancakes22 became editor-in-chief of TPA News, a position she held until the company ceased operations approximately one month later.
Following the closure of TPA News, emilypancakes founded her own media company, Turtle Hat Media. The small news company primarily focuses on niche and cultural stories within Redmont, such as the Wedding of Dogeington and Kaiserin Anthropy.[4]
