Client Modifications

While most enjoy the Vanilla Minecraft experience, some of us prefer to make some changes. Below is a guide to the resourcepacks and client-side mods that have been approved by our staff team. This is not an exhaustive list, rather just a list of mods that we have already approved. Mods can be used outside of this list in accordance with the client modifications rule.

Resource Packs (Texture Packs)

Resource Packs are used to change the appearance of the game.

Prohibited Resource Packs

Any pack which may give a player a tangible and material unfair advantage, these include:

• X-Ray packs
  • These give a player the ability to see through non-transparent blocks
• Full Bright packs

It never hurts to ask! If you have a mod you are thinking of playing with but don’t see it here. You can always ask a staff member for approval within a Support Ticket on discord!

Modifications

Below are the lists of approved modifications for Fabric and Forge respectively.

• Cosmetic mods and performance enhancing mods are not included in these lists as they aren’t typically problematic
• Any supporting/dependency mods for the below listed mods are also permitted

Cinematic Recording and Replay Mods

We permit the use of mods that allow you to spectate outside a player's physical character for the purposes of recording and producing media and must not be used to locate players, entities, or resources that would otherwise be hidden.

• A general rule of the thumb is not to use these mods to visit areas your player physically cannot access, unless it is a public property (e.g. Government building) that you are not restricted from in any way

Staff are consistently monitoring gameplay to ensure compliance with the rules. Violating the rules could result in disciplinary action!
