He also works as an auditor and compliance manager. He is the secretary general of the Workers' Party of Redmont[1] and has served as chair of the party's Central Committee several times.

TrueDarklander is a former member of the Federal Reserve Board.[2] He formerly served as the deputy secretary of commerce[3] and later as acting secretary of commerce during the Juniperfig 22nd administration.[4]

He also operates a small armory in Oakridge.[3]

Political career

January–March 2025

TrueDarklander joined on 24 January 2025. He joined the newly emerging Workers' Party of Redmont (WPR) the following day.[5] In February, he authored an op-ed entitled "On the importance of journalistic standards and good practices" in Paper News.[6] In March 2025 he was a WPR candidate for the House of Representatives; he lost with four votes (3.18%).[7] Later that month he was elected to the 4th Central Committee.[8]

April 2025–present

TrueDarklander served on the 34th, 35th and 36th sessions of the House of Representatives, from 11 November 2025 to 11 May 2026.[9][10][11] He served as Deputy Speaker of the House in the 34th Congress after being elected to the position on 18 December 2025.[12] He also served as Speaker of the House in the 36th Congress, elected to the position on 12 March 2026.[13]

He was elected to a class A Senate seat in the 37th Congress on 11 May 2026[14] and was elected to serve as Deputy President of the Senate on 14 May.[15]

After the 38th Senate was dissolved in July 2026,[16] TrueDarklander was elected to the 39th House of Representatives in the special election that followed.[17] He was elected to serve as Speaker of the House on 27 July.[18] A motion of no confidence against TrueDarklander's position as Speaker was submitted by _GreyMC on 21 August, citing a lack of activity,[19] and was made redundant by his resignation from that position the same day.[20]

He served on the 4th Central Committee in March 2025,[8] as well as the 12th,[21] 13th,[22] 14th,[23] 15th,[24] 16th,[25] 17th,[26] 18th,[27][28] 19th[29] and 20th[30] elected Central Committees, being a Committee member since January 2026. He served as Chair of the 12th, 16th, 17th and 18th (1st) elected Committees.[21][25][26][27]
