Ear Infection is a more-common health condition in Redmont.
Signs and Symptoms
Patients who have an ear infection will always have Tinnitus, which is a ringing in the player's ears that sounds like a bell. There is also a 60% chance the patient will have a Headache, and a 5% chance they will have a Fever. [1]
Causes
A player can get an ear infection by getting water into their ears. This only happens when a player starts to drown when swimming under water.
Management

The main cure for an Ear Infection is Amoxicillin, which Doctors can make by brewing a Red Mushroom and 3 Simple Cultures into 3 Penicillium Cultures, then turning the Penicillium Cultures into Amoxicillin. A patient can go to any hospital or clinic to be treated with Amoxicillin, which has a $55 cost fully paid by Medicare.[2]
An alternate cure for an Ear Infection is Ear Drops, which can be crafted by Doctors and Pharmacists with 3 Oily Tinctures. This is not normally given out at the hospital, nor is covered by Medicare. Patients must go to a pharmacy to purchase Ear Drops.
Another cure for an Ear Infection is Antibiotics, which Doctors and Pharmacists can make by turning 3 Simple Cultures into Antibiotics. This is not covered by Medicare and is usually not given out at the hospital, so patients must purchase it at a pharmacy.
